Costa Rica Limited is dedicated to constructing Green Homes for sale in a secured gated community. The homes are constructed with quality and in a rustic style. The Homes are to be equipped with Solar Photosensitive Cells that will generate enough electricity to power much if not all of the needs of a 2 bedroom 2 bath home. In the Post Recession World our vision has changed dramatically. No longer are we attempting to go “bigger”. This philosophy was inherited from clients and potential clients from the states who wanted Bigger and Better. We have once again reinvented ourselves and are conceptualizing a Green Community that will include two large lap style pool, pavers stone style roads, underground drainage (rarely used in Costa Rica, but always needed) and a septic system we are developing with the local municipality. We are also, installing a footbridge connecting the two stages of the community and Japanese or "Zen River" or Lagoon with tropical vegetation and lighting.
There will be substantial space set aside for a Community Garden from which residents will cultivate their own produce. Imagine fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables and grains such as corn grown from scratch and cut fresh every morning. Each client will have the option of purchasing a Green Package that will power the entire home and even put back green energy into the grid. Hot Water, Air Condition and All Lighting as well as Kitchen and Laundry Appliances will be powered by the Sun!!
For those who are not aware, electricity in Costa Rica is priced around 38 cents a Kilowatt. This is in conflict with the 6-8 cent cost of electrical power that is common in most areas of the United and States and the World in general. Monthly electric bills average around $200 and can climb over $500 per month here in Costa Rica. Now, we can beat the Conglomerate that is ICE (the electric conglomerate and beauracacy that is debt ridden and poorly managed) Costa Rica uses Hydro-Electrictricity and out dated Diesel Generated Electricity. The use of the Solar Photosensitive Cells to light and power your home will help save our Planet and save money and the frustration of brownouts, blackouts and high monthly electric bills.
Houses will begin at $129,000 for a spacious 1 bedroom / 1 bath villa that includes a total solar package along with the incredible finish of our previous homes. Vaulted ceilings & teak and cedar hardwoods create a warm ambience and the 10-foot ceilings give the homes a very open feeling.
